Originally a cotton mill built in 1860. The most recent firm operating from the mill was Sutcliffe Furniture which closed in 2011.

History
The depot was used to carry out fleet maintenance of Cheshire Council vehicles. The site closed in 2011 and is earmarked for new homes.
